Crochet Christmas Decorations

Hello!  I am feeling a little less tired today after the antics with the house alarm yesterday!  Managed to catch up with some very peaceful quiet sleep - bliss!!!!!   I was up walking with my friend before the moon went to bed today, it was a lovely morning

Even though I was a bit tired last night - I managed to finish these Christmas decorations that I have been designing and working on this week:

There is a Christmas stocking which could hold a little gift or sweets, a Snowman and a Christmas tree decorated with tiny beads

The Snowman and the Christmas tree are slightly padded  and they are all easy to do - ideal for beginners to tackle.  I had a couple of disasters before arriving at these and I am pleased with them.

I have also started the pink cot blanket - only done three rows - so not much to show you yet.

I love this time of the year, now that I have got used to the dark nights - it feels sooooo cosy, and I need no excuses to sit by the fire with a cup of tea and my crochet.

Speak soon xx

  1. Oh Kim they are beautiful! Absolutely cutey cute! I love the Christmas tree in particular. Are they sequins or beads! I went to Hobby Craft this afternoon to get some more white sequins to finish a project I have. To tell you the truth it was a gift from my best friend BrendaS2 on Flickr years ago. You know I started it, but never finished it. It has always been on my mind and I feel dreadful for not doing it. So I made my mind up yesterday as the birds were finished to sit down at the table and get it done. Then some how or another I ran out of sequins white ones. Well Hobby Craft didn't have the same ones so I have bought others, which I hope wont be too much different. So annoying. My fault they must have got lost out of the kit. Been in my drawer quite a while. Now I love all these designs. Did you get my message I was asking the other day about that photo. The Saturday you had the crocheting event going on. I was wondering whether you were selling the blanket. I just wondered how on earth could you part with something so beautiful. It was on the table in the hall? Cant remember whether it was in my comment on here or Flickr. I would hate to part with something so beautiful. Will you be selling these designs or will you keep them for the family. I remember making something similar years ago when the girls were little. Good fun isn't it?
You're doing really well with everything, and I really look forward to reading your blog. It's funny how there are certain favourites which you have to read every day!
    Hugs for now,
Sue x I love too how the crocheting has worked out at the top of the stocking. Looks real!
