I was going to save this Ta Dah moment for the Tea Cosy I have made, but I am soooo surprised, and pleased at how well it has turned out,... just out of my little old head - it materialised, I just COULDN'T wait to show you all.
I made two rectangles of this nice ribby pattern,
Sewed up the sides, leaving enough room for the handle and spout,
Sewed the ends in of course!
What could I do to finish it off? I know
Loads of "picots" and leaves later
Tah Dah!!!
It's already in use!
No more "chilly Tea"!!
Speak soon xx
Kimbles - its the best made in the field tea cozy I've ever seen. Love the cheery colors. Wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteIt's so cute! Love the picot flower on top. That just makes the whole thing come together. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThat is just the cutest with the flower on top. Great work. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so cute!! Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love your tea cosy! I would like to make one too. I started a pattern but it is taking a lot of yarn and I don't have enough to finish it. Thanks for sharing your "pattern". It looks easier than the one I was doing. I'm blogging from the field too...so I know what you are going through. Luckily this RV park has excellent WiFi.
